The Logo can be used in any colour or have a texture or image placed within.
A series of icons inspired by the festival and local town were created to be used throughout the branding of the festival.
Isotypes for each event. Walking, Running, Cycling and Mountain Biking.
T Shirts would be worn by staff to signify what area of the festival they are working in.
A running marshal would wear a shirt with the running isotype on it, a worker on the ice cream stall would also wear
the correct shirt.
The icons can be used as signage directing people to the various events/stalls. Used either hanging from one of the many trees or on the ground.
Local participating pubs (for example) would offer vouchers to festival goers as prizes for entering the events or competitions. This would entice people to use the local services, keeping trade in the local area and fostering the social, community feel of the festival.
Directing people to the participating pubs/shops. Extending the branding throughout the entire town, not just at the start and finish lines.
The Hugh MacDiarmid monument is a scultpure situated in Langholm commemorating the poet. The festival would create their own version of this monument using the icons as part of the design.
The Muckle Toon Adventure Festival is based in Langholm, Scotland. It is a festival that focuses on walking, running, cycling and mountain biking.
